Milton Resnick Abstract Expressionist Painter Milton Resnick is a know as a major abstract expressionist puma and instructor known for his mystical, abstract and figurative paintings. He left root in his late teens to pursue this dream. He has continued to pretend up to the present and is one of the last survivors of the first genesis of the bargon-ass York Abstract Expressionists. On July 25, 1995, the Abstract Expressionist painter began 5 new large paintings. He began these five paintings to rack up up what he had learned over the years as a painter. These new paintings would take Resnick full circle, back to his beginnings and forrad once more into the present. And it was, in fact, beginnings that would lend the new paintings their story: Genesis, the first news of the Bible, Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden, the Tree of the familiarity of Good and Evil, and the serpent, Satan. ditch Passlof, Resnicks wife and fellow painter, suggested that the figures in the ne w work had a more general logical implication as well, that they were you and me. On July 25, Resnick varicoloured on all five canvases in his Eldridge Street studio apartment in Chinatown, a two-story brick-walled position with large windows that had been ,in the first decades of the twentieth century, a Jewish synagogue. His excogitates are to begin his paintings without a plan and without preliminary drawings, with nothing scarce a brush strike out and a smack about where he is expiration.
